The Default Lead Action


Every Brilliant Directories website is launched with the Default Lead Action. This action can't be deleted, and is applied to all of your membership levels. You can create an exemption for a specific membership level by creating a custom Lead Action.  This functionality is only available in the "Advanced Leads Package". 


You can access the "Default Lead Action" by going to LEADS >> LEAD SETTINGS



Creating A Custom Lead Action


To create a custom lead action please follow these steps:


1. Go to LEADS >> LEAD SETTINGS

2. Click on "Add Another Action"


3. A new action will now appear:


4. Click on "New Action"


5. Complete the following settings:


General Lead Settings


Is This Action Active: Set to Active "Yes" if you wish for this new action to be active. 


Action Name: Create a name for your action. We recommend using the name of the membership level that you are creating this action for. 


Automatically Match Leads To Members: Once a lead is submitted, attempt to automatically match it to qualified members based on the content of the lead (location and/or categories). Leads submitted on the Get Matched page will be automatically matched to members. Leads submitted directly through a member's profile (Direct Leads) will also be automatically matched to additional members that fit the criteria of the lead. All leads that are automatically matched to members are considered "Indirect Leads".

 

Apply Action To Membership Levels: Select the Membership Levels this Action will apply to. If a Membership Level does not have an active Action, the Default Action will be applied.



Receiving Direct Lead Settings


Members Receive Direct Leads Immediately: If set to "Yes", when a lead is submitted through a member's profile page, the lead will be sent to the member immediately. If set to "No", the Administrator of the site will have to review the lead and then manually match it to the member.


Label Direct Leads AsSelect "Accepted" for this match to count against the "Maximum Acceptances" total set in the General Lead Settings tab. Select "Pending" for this match to not count against the "Maximum Acceptances" total set in the General Lead Settings tab.


Member Notification Type: Select "Preview" to send the member who received the lead a portion (preview) of the information submitted in the lead, rather than all of the information submitted in the lead. Members will have to accept or purchase the lead in order to see the complete information of the lead. Select "Complete" to send all of the information submitted in the lead immediately without the need to accept or purchase the lead. We STRONGLY suggest setting all leads to "Preview" to follow lead management best practices. 


Preview Email Template: Select the email template to send to the member if "Preview" is selected above.


Complete Email Template: Select the email template to send to the member if "Complete" is selected above.


Copy Admin On This Email: Send a copy of the "Preview Email Template" or "Complete Email Template" to the Admin email address(es) when it is sent to a member.


Receiving Direct Lead Settings

Members Should Receive Indirect Leads Immediately: If set to "Yes", when a lead is submitted through a member's profile page, the lead will be sent to the member immediately. If set to "No", the Administrator of the site will have to review the lead and then manually match it to the member.

 

Member Notification Type: Select "Preview" or "Complete".

Admin Notifications


Email Admin When Lead Submitted: Select "Yes" to send an email to the Admin email address(es) when a lead is submitted anywhere on the website.


Admin Lead Submitted Template: Select the email template to send to the Admin if "Email Admin When Lead Submitted" is set to "Yes" above.


Extra Admin Email Addresses: Enter a comma-separated list of email addresses that you would also like to receive Admin Notifications. Email addresses entered here will be copied on all Admin Notifications, including all emails where "Copy Admin On This Email?" has been set to "Yes".


Email Admin When Lead Declined By Member: Select "Yes" to send an email to the Admin when a lead is declined by a member.


Admin Lead Declined By Member Template: Select the email template to send to the admin when a lead has been declined if "Email Admin When Lead Declined By Member" is set to "Yes" above.


Email Admin When a Members Tries to Purchase a Lead: Get notified every time a member tries to purchase a lead so that you can verify if the payment went through. 


Member Tried To Purchase Lead Template: Select the email template to send to the admin when a member is attempting to purchase a lead.


Visitor Notifications


Email Visitor After Lead Submission: Select "Yes" to send an email to the visitor when they submit a lead.


Visitor Email Template: Select the email template to send to the visitor when they submit a lead if "Email Visitor After Lead Submission" is set to "Yes" above.


Copy Admin On This Email: Send a copy of the Visitor Email Template to the Admin email address(es) when "Email Visitor After Lead Submission" is set to "Yes" above.

Visitor Email Variable: 
The variable name of the visitor's email address field in the lead form. If "Email Visitor After Lead Submission" is set to "Yes" above, the Visitor Email Template will be sent to the email address submitted in this field. The default value is "lead_email" and it is not recommended to change this for most websites.


Send Email to visitor when Members Accepts a Lead: If set to "Yes" when a member accepts a lead, an email will be sent to the visitor that submitted the lead


Copy Admin on this Email: Yes or no. 


Member Notifications


Email Member After Accepting Lead: Select "Yes" to send an email to a member after they have accepted or puchased a lead. This email will typically contain the complete details of the lead, including the lead's contact information.


Member Email Template After Accepting Lead: Select the email template to send to the member if "Email Member After Accepting Lead" is set to "Yes" above.


Copy Admin On This Email: Send a copy of the "Member Email Template After Accepting Lead" to the Admin email address(es) when it is sent to a member.


Email Member After Trying To Accept A Sold Out Lead: Select "Yes" to send an email to a member if they have accepted a lead that has already "sold out" (the "Maximum Acceptances" has already been reached for this lead).


Member Email Template When Lead Has Been Sold Out: Select the email template to send to the member if "Email Member After Trying To Accept A Sold Out Lead" is set to "Yes" above.


Copy Admin On This Email: Send a copy of the "Member Email Template When Lead Has Been Sold Out" to the Admin email address(es) when it is sent to a member.


3rd-Party Notifications


Email 3rd Parties When Lead Submitted: Select "Yes" to send an email to 3rd parties when a lead is submitted anywhere on your site.


3rd Party Lead Submitted Template: Select the email template to send to the 3rd parties if "Email 3rd Parties When Lead Submitted" is set to "Yes" above.


3rd Party Email Addresses: Enter a comma-separated list of email addresses that you would like to send the "3rd Party Lead Submitted Template" to when a lead is submitted.


Copy Admin On This Email: Send a copy of the "3rd Party Lead Submitted Template" to the Admin email address(es) when the "3rd Party Lead Submitted Template" is sent.


3rd Party Lead Matched Notifications: Select "Yes" to send an email to 3rd parties when a lead is matched to a member. A separate email will be sent for each individual member that a lead is matched to.


3rd Party Lead Matched Template: Select the email template to send to the 3rd parties if "3rd Party Lead Matched Notifications" is set to "Yes" above.


3rd Party Email Addresses: Enter a comma-separated list of email addresses that you would like to send the 3rd Party Lead Matched Template to when a lead is matched to a member.


Copy Admin On This Email: Send a copy of the "3rd Party Lead Matched Template" to the Admin email address(es) when the "3rd Party Lead Matched Template" is sent.
