In this article you will learn which are the options in this tab and what's each one for. Please see the image below:

1. Membership Name: This is a Mandatory field (*), this means that you can not save any change without filling this field.

This name will appear in the checkout page as well, that's why we recommend to add a one word name.

2.  After Sign Up, Set Account Status As: This option will allow you to select the status of the members as soon as they sign up.  In the past, this was an Advanced Setting that worked for all membership levels at once, but now you can select the status per membership level.

Find below the 2 options you can select:

  • Active Account.
  • Inactive Account.

3.  Redirect Page After Login: The default option is: /account/home. We do not recommend to change the default link, it could cause issues when member try to login.

4. Sign Up Email Sent: This is the email your members will receive right after they signed up. This is email is sent automatically by the system.

If the membership level is Free please select the email Template: Welcome-basic- [Action-required] Please verify your email.

If the membership level is Paid please select the email Template: Welcome-paid- [Action-required] Please verify your email.

5. Upgrade Email Sent: Choose an email template to be sent after member upgrades to this membership level.

6. Sign Up Page Sidebar: This is the sidebar that will appear in the checkout page, right next to the new member contact information and credit card fields.

The option we recommend to choose is: No Sidebar.

Please do not select any of the default ones: Homepage with Map, Lead Page Sidebar, Member Profile Page, Member Search Result, Post Search Result and Post Single Page. We do NOT recommend to use these sidebars because they contain links and you don't want that your members leave the checkout page to follow a link that will redirect them somewhere else. If you want to create a new sidebar for the checkout page please make sure that it doesn't have any links.

7. Sign Up Page Sidebar Position: Choose if you want the signup page sidebar in the right or left side.

8.  Profile Page Sidebar: The default one is: Member Profile Page. However, you can add you own sidebar or choose any of the ones in the list.

9. Profile Page Badge: If you want to add this badge (See image below) and you don't have the "Member Profile Badges” Add-On, you need to go to Content >> Media Manager >> Upload the badge and copy the name of the image.

Then in the membership level find the option "Profile Page Badge" and past the following: /images/name of the image.
If the image is called: member-badge.jpg. It should look like this: /images/member-badge.jpg

If you purchased the "Member Profile Badges” Add-On or have the VIP Add-Ons installed, then you will have the option at the bottom (See the image above) to upload your badge, this way you will save time and you won't need to follow the process described above.

10. Search Results Badge: This badge will appear in all search results when a member is listed in that specific membership level.

Follow the steps explained in the "Profile Page Badge". If the name of the image is: "verified-badge.jpg". You should add the following:  /images/verified-badge.jpg

If you purchased the "Member Profile Badges” Add-On or have the VIP Add-Ons installed, then you will have the option at the bottom (See the first image) to upload your badge, this way you will save time and you won't need to follow the process described above.

11. Membership Level Search Results URL: Enter the URL slug you would like to use on your live site to display a search results page containing all of the members at this membership level. IMPORTANT - It is NOT possible to use the slug "pro" as it will break this feature. If you need to use "pro", please try "pro-level" to resolve this issue.

For example: If you are editing the Premium Membership, you can add in this field the word "Premium" and the system will create a new page called "Premium".

You can find this page in the following link: yourdomain.com/premium

12.  Pre-Select Top Category: Select if a member will have a "Top Category" selected when they signup.

Keep in mind that they can change this selection. However, it will be pre-selected when they see the Contact Details form for the first time.
Please reference image below to see where the pre-selection will be located.

13. Pre-select Listing Type: Select if a member will have a "Listing Type" selected when they signup.

Keep in mind that they can change this selection. However, it will be pre-selected when they see the Contact Details form for the first time.

Please reference image below to see where the pre-selection will be located.
