The admin dashboard provides multiple entry points from which an administrator can log in as a specific member. This is used for troubleshooting member-facing issues, verifying member dashboard visibility, or completing actions on behalf of a member.

Method 1 — /login Page

Every Brilliant Directories website includes a default /login page accessible by appending /login to the site's root domain (e.g., yourdomain.com/login). This page presents the standard front-end login form used by all site members.

To log in as a member using this method:

  1. Navigate to the site's /login page.
  2. Enter the member's Email Address in the email field.
  3. Enter the member's Password in the password field.
  4. Complete the Google reCaptcha verification.
  5. Click the login button to access the member's account.

⚠ NOTE — Google reCaptcha Must Be Configured: The /login page requires Google reCaptcha verification to be completed before login can proceed. If reCaptcha has not been configured on the site, the login form on this page will not function correctly. Reference: Google reCaptcha Setup

⚠ NOTE — Credential Requirement: This method requires the administrator to know the member's email address and password. This method is most appropriate when the member has shared their credentials or when the administrator has recently set the member's password via the Change Password action in the Actions dropdown.

Additional Notes

Single Sign-On (SSO)

SSO integration allows members of an external platform to log in to the Brilliant Directories site without maintaining a separate set of credentials. This requires a custom development engagement to connect the external platform's authentication system with the Brilliant Directories login system.

⚠ NOTE — SSO Requires Custom Development: SSO is not a built-in out-of-the-box feature. It cannot be configured through the admin dashboard. Implementation requires a custom developer engagement to establish the authentication bridge between the external platform and the Brilliant Directories site. For custom development assistance, visit the Brilliant Directories Marketplace.
