To edit the general settings for "Receiving Direct Leads" when using the Basic Leads package go to: Interactions » Member Leads » Lead Settings and click on "Receiving Direct Leads":
Available Settings In The Basic Leads Module:
- Members Receive Direct Leads Immediately:
If set to "ON", when a lead is submitted through a member's profile page, the lead will be sent to the member immediately.
If set to "OFF", the Administrator of the site will have to review the lead and then manually match it to the member.
- Member Notification Type:
Select "Preview" to send the member who received the lead a portion (preview) of the information submitted in the lead, rather than all of the information submitted in the lead. This preview will typically contain the content of the lead, but will not contain the contact information (phone and email) of the person who submitted the lead. Members will have to accept or purchase the lead in order to see the complete information of the lead.
Select "Complete" to send all of the information submitted in the lead immediately without the need to accept or purchase the lead. We STRONGLY suggest setting all leads to "Preview" to follow lead management best practices.
- Label Direct Lead As:
Select "Accepted" for this match to count against the "Maximum Acceptances" total set in the General Lead Settings tab.
Select "Pending" for this match to not count against the "Maximum Acceptances" total set in the General Lead Settings tab.
- Preview Email Template:
Select the email template to send to the member if "Preview" is selected above.
- Complete Email Template:
Select the email template to send to the member if "Complete" is selected above.
- Copy Admin On This Email:
Send a copy of the "Preview Email Template" or "Complete Email Template" to the Admin email address(es) when it is sent to a member.
Where can members view their leads:
Once a member logs into their account, on the dashboard, they will be able to see the new leads on the "Manage Leads" option:
