The following variables power the Basic Lead Module, and can be used when creating custom lead emails.

Important note: Always add three "%" signs to post the variable exactly as it was entered into the system. Adding a single "%" or two "%%" will likely make unwanted changes to the way variables get posted in the custom emails.

Variables

%member_login_link% - This variable will log a member into his dashboard area without needing to enter his username or password.

%member_lead_match_link% - This variable will take a member straight to the specific lead in question without needing to enter his or her username or password. This is the fastest and easiest way for members to accept free leads or purchase paid leads:

%%%details%%% - Variable to put in an email template that will display the information fields from the lead, regardless of it being set to preview or complete. Control what is included in this variable by editing the Get Matched Form.

%%%full_name%%% - This will publish the name of the member. If they are set as "company", the company name will show. If they are listed as "individual, their first and last name will show.

%%%user_id%%% - The ID number of the member.

%%%lead_id%%% - This calls the lead ID associated to the lead. This is sometimes included in an email template to make it easy for a site administrator to locate leads in the system. There is not much use to the member itself.

%%%lead_name%%% - This variable publishes the name of the website visitor that submitted the lead.

%%%lead_email%%% - This variable publishes the email of the lead. Please note that manually inputting this variable will publish the email regardless of it being set as "Preview". This variable is used for emails sent to the website visitor in order to confirm that the information sent is accurate. This variable is not used in any email sent to members by default.

%%%lead_phone%%% - This variable publishes the website visitor's phone number that was inputted on the lead form. This variable is used for emails sent to the website visitor in order to confirm that the information sent is accurate. This variable is not used in any email sent to members by default.

%%%lead_location%%% - This variable prints the website visitor's location.

%%%website_name%%% - This variable prints the name of the website. This is often used in the Subject Line of emails to help with website recognition.

%%%location%%% - the location of the member the lead was matched to.

%token% - This is the token (secure ID) of the lead.

%user_token% - This is the token (secure ID) of the member the lead was matched to.

Link To Login To View Lead: The following link will automatically log the member into his or her account, and take them straight to the lead details where they are prompted to accept the lead:

  • <a href="http://%protocol_website_url%/login/token/%user_token%/leads">Login to your account to accept the message</a>
