What is the General Settings Tab?
The General Settings tab where the basic information of the website is set up. This includes:
- Website or Company Name
- Website Phone Number
- Industry Name
- Profession Name
- Default Website Email
- Email Domain
- Website Status
- Search Engine Visibility
- Require User Consent To Store Data (GDPR)
- Express Sign Up Membership Plan
- Default Email Signature
- Include Website Signature In All Automatic Emails Sent?
Adding The Website General Information:
- Website Name
- Website Phone Number
- Industry Name
- Profession Name
- Default Website Email
- Email Domain
7. Website Status:
There are two available settings for this section:
Live Mode - This will keep the live site and accessible to all visitors.
Staging Mode - This option will basically prompt the domain URL to go to a landing page that states that the site is under construction.

8. Search Engine Visibility:
There are two available settings for this section:
- Allow search engines to index website (recommended) - Select this and search engines (Google, Bing, Yahoo, etc) will be able to index the website.
- Do not allow search engines to index website - Search engines will not be allowed to index the website.
9. Require User Consent To Store Data (GDPR)?
This setting enables or disables the GDPR consent fields show on the forms.
If the website stores any personal data of EU citizens, or requires additional consent to store user data, turn this setting on.

10. Express Sign Up Membership Plan
Instead of directing new users to the registration page, they can now instantly create a free account directly from the login pop-up. This eliminates hurdles by making it easier and faster for new users to join the community!
The "Start with Express Registration Tab Selected" will display the Signup form before the default Login form.
Important: In order for this add-on to be enabled in the directory must have an SSL certificate installed, otherwise this error message will appear:

11. Email Signature Options
Create an email signature that will be included at the end of all email templates.

12. Include Website Signature In All Emails Sent?
If set to no, the emails sent will follow the email template signature setting.
