All Brilliant Directories sites start without any custom Post Type code saved in the database - the default code is built into the system from the beginning.

However, many users choose to customize how Member Post Types (like articles, coupons, or videos) are displayed to better match their website’s design and needs.

Find Post Type

Navigate to My Content >> Edit Post Settings and click on Edit for the post type to be customized.

Move to the tab where the code needs to be edited: Profile Page Design, Search Results or Page Detail and click on the View/Edit Code button, the system will load the default code.

Edit the code accordingly and save the changes:

If the custom code is deleted and the user clicks on save changes, confirmation will be asked to remove the custom code, otherwise it will cause duplicate content due that it matches the default.

Restore Backup

To go back to a previous version of the code, use the Select Revision tool.

Select the Date & Time to go back to a previous version of the Post Code:

Click on "Load Revision":

Save the changes:
