Automatic Connection

Below is a collection of tutorials for configuring specific email applications. The appropriate protocol should be selected based on the email application in use.

For Mac devices such as iPhone, iPad, or macOS, Mail.app, select the iOS option. For any Windows device, including those using Windows Live Mail, select the corresponding Windows option.

Manual Connection

Additionally, 'Manual Settings' are provided for configuring applications not included in the listed tutorials:

Domain Connection Method

It is necessary to identify the domain connection method being used to complete the email configuration.

This information can be found in the Domain Manager.

If the connection method is listed as 'NS', it indicates the use of nameservers.

If it displays 'Cloudflare', 'CNAME', or any other value, the CNAME method is being used.

Nameservers Domains

If the site is connected via nameserversthe 'Incoming' and 'Outgoing' server details provided in the Secure SSL/TLS Settings table should be used:

CNAME Domains

If the domain was connected using a CNAME record (meaning it is hosted with the domain registrar or Cloudflare, not with BD), and the 'Incoming Server' and 'Outgoing Server' details provided by cPanel are not working, use the secure target URL displayed in the Domain Manager as both the incoming and outgoing server address instead:

Connection Example with IOS

We will use the "Automatic Connection" for this example.

Click on the IMAP over SSL/TLS option:

Go to your device's "System Settings", and type "Email".

Then select "Internet Accounts", and click on "Add Account":

Select the "Mail Account" option:

Since the domain is connected via a CNAME record, the 'Secure Target URL' displayed in the Domain Manager should be used as both the 'Incoming Mail Server' and the 'Outgoing Mail Server'.

Refer to the 'Email Setup for CNAME Domains' section above for guidance.

Add the email address and password.

Then add the Incoming and Outgoing Mail Server.

Select the applications that should be enabled for use with this account.

Open the Mail application on the device; the email account will appear in the left sidebar.
