This article explains how to create a newsletter template from the Emails >> Send Newsletter section of the admin area.
Newsletter templates can also be created from Emails >> Email Templates, but this article focuses on creating one directly from the newsletter builder.
Where to Start
- Go to Emails >> Send Newsletter.
- Click the New Email Newsletter button.

The first step is to give the newsletter a name and choose how the newsletter should be created.

There are three available options:
- Start Blank
- AI Generate
- Select Template
Option 1: Start Blank
Selecting Start Blank opens the standard newsletter editor.
This option is best when the newsletter will be created manually from scratch.
- Enter a name for the newsletter.
- Select Start Blank.
- Click Continue.

The admin will be taken to the newsletter editor, where the newsletter content can be added, edited, saved, and sent.
Option 2: AI Generate
Selecting AI Generate opens the Quick Create Wizard, which helps generate a newsletter using AI. This option is useful when the admin wants help creating the first draft of the newsletter content.
For complete step-by-step instructions, please see the following article:
The Quick Create Wizard allows the admin to:
- Add a custom prompt for the newsletter
- Select options for format, tone, audience, length, images, and color mood
- Use suggested prompts as a starting point
- Review and edit the generated newsletter before saving
- Continue to the standard newsletter editor to make final changes or send the newsletter
Option 3: Select Template
Selecting Select Template allows the admin to create a newsletter from an existing saved newsletter template. This option is best when the site already has newsletter templates saved and one of those templates should be reused.
- Enter a name for the newsletter.
- Select Select Template.
- Choose one of the available saved newsletter templates.
- Click Continue.

The selected template will open in the standard newsletter editor, where the content can be edited and sent.
