If the domain nameservers are pointed to BD, but would prefer to use a 3rd party platform such as Gmail to handle the email, it will be required to edit the MX records.
Instructions:
Login to the admin of the website.
Please go to EMAILS >> EMAIL ACCOUNTS >> ADD/EDIT EMAIL ADDRESSES
Click on the HOME menu.
Search for "MX" or "Zone Editor" and click on Zone Editor.
Click on Manage:
Delete the previous MX Entry. If the MX entry that is there is not deleted, the emails will continue to be pointed to Brilliant Directories.
Click delete where it shows the name of your site: (Type: MX)
Lastly, add 3rd Party MX Entries.
On the following example, Google's MX Records are being added using the following data from Google:

Go back to the DNS Zone Editor and click Add Record:
Choose Type: MX
Add the Priority and the Mail Server / Destination:
Once theMX Records are added, they can be viewed by clicking on the filter MX:
Important: Do know that in this example we are adding only the first Record for Google, if the admin is setting up Google's MX Records it is necessary to add the full list provided by them or the preferred service email service.
Note: Please note there are known issues with changing MX records to point to Go Daddy. Emails are known not to get through their security filters.
