If you have pointed your nameservers to us, but would prefer to use a 3rd party platform such as Gmail to handle your email, you will be required to edit your MX records.

Login to the admin of your website.

Click on the HOME menu.

Search for "MX" or "Zone Editor" and click on Zone Editor.

Click on Manage:

Delete the previous MX Entry. If you do not delete the MX entry that is there, your emails will continue to be pointed to Brilliant Directories.

Click delete where it shows the name of your site: (Type: MX)

Lastly, add 3rd Party MX Entries.

On the following example, I'm adding Google's MX Records using the following data from Google:

Configuring Your MX Records: Other domain hosts

Go back to the DNS Zone Editor and click Add Record:

Choose Type: MX

Add the Priority and the Mail Server / Destination:

Once you added all MX Records, you can view them by clicking on the filter MX:

Important: Do know that in this example we are adding only the first Record for Google, if you are setting up Google's MX Records you need to add the full list provided by them or the service that you are going to use.

Note: Please note there are known issues with changing MX records to point to Go Daddy. Emails are known not to get through their security filters.
