In-Depth Look Into Each Form Field Type

What Are Field Types?
The Field Type setting determines how a form field displays on the front end.
Field types can be found under Edit View for any form:

Select Fields
Checkboxes
To add options to a checkbox field, click Add Option.

Specify the option display name and database variable. The database variable is created automatically but can be edited if needed.

Drop-down List
The same logic used for checkboxes applies to drop-down lists.

Front-end view:

Multiple Choice Radios
The same logic used for checkboxes applies to radio buttons.

Yes or No

Important Note: For all select-type fields (Checkboxes, Radio Buttons, and Drop-down Lists), keyword searches will match the saved field label content.

File Upload Field

Important:
- Maximum file size: 10 MB
- Default availability: Listing – Additional Details – Member form
- This field can be used on other forms with the File Uploads for Forms add-on.
