New Features: 


  • We created a new Design Setting for the "Featured Blog Article Slider" widget called "Hide on Mobile?". When this setting is active, the system will hide the corresponding widget module on the homepage when viewed from a mobile device. To use this new feature navigate to the Admin >> Settings >> Design Settings >> Homepage tab >> Select Content to Display.

  • We added a new Design Setting called "Photo Quality". This setting adds the ability to select the quality of the images used in homepage widgets. To use this new setting, navigate to the Admin >> Settings >> Design Settings >> Homepage tab >> Select Content to Display.

  • We added the ability to auto-fetch member images and auto-geocode the member when importing members via CSV file or when using the Brilliant Directories API.

  • We added a new "Reviews" endpoint to the Brilliant Directories API.  Using this API endpoint, Admins can create, update, delete, match, and read Member Reviews.

Enhancements / Fixes:


  • We fixed an issue which was preventing the "Print" button on Multi-Photo Post Type detail pages from displaying the images properly in the print layout in some cases.

  • We created a new text label for the "Overall Rating" column heading when viewing member reviews in the Member Dashboard. 

  • We fixed an issue which was affecting the abilty to pass a coupon code as part of the checkout URL using the "refcode" URL variable in some cases.
     
  • We updated the Froala WYSIWYGs on the frontend of sites to add the "Replace" image feature when updating images inside the content editor.
     
  • We updated the Private Member Chat Add-On to automatically scroll to the most recent messages at the bottom of the chat when viewing messages in the Member Dashboard.

  • We fixed an issue which was preventing the "Use same language for text labels" General Setting from working properly after selecting a new Default Website Language in some cases.

  • We updated the "Upload Photos" tab when adding photos to a Multi-Image post in order to hide the "Move To" dropdown if there are no other posts available of the same post type.

  • We fixed an issue which was preventing members from deleting posts from the Member Dashboard when the Post Type name contained an apostrophe in some cases.  

  • We fixed an issue which preventing the "Show Widgets" feature in the Admin Sidebar from working properly on Multi-Photo Post Types detail pages when viewing the frontend of a site as an Admin in some cases.

  • We fixed an issue which was preventing the Hero Title and Sub-Title from respecting their corresponding alignment settings in some cases.

  • We fixed an issue which was preventing the "Featured Blog Article Slider" widget from respecting the "Font Color" selected on the Design Settings page in the Admin in some cases.

  • We fixed an issue which was causing the system to add default Brilliant Directories CSS classes to elements inside <iframe> elements in some cases.

  • We updated the "Member Profile URL Structure" Advanced Setting in order to include the Country Short Name (country_short_name) and State Short Name (state_short_name) as options to use with the setting.

  • We fixed an issue which was causing the system to change some of the text inside the Profile Photo tab in the Member Dashboard when the site has activated a Member Dashboard Webhook in some cases.

  • We implemented an update in order to respect the Default Website Language setting when sending emails from the Admin.

  • We fixed an issue which was preventing the system from collecting past due invoices using member credits from the Admin area in some cases.

  • We updated the Twitter icon in order to use the new X icon on the frontend.

  • The action of deleting a sub-account from the Member Dashboard is now being logged in the Activity Tracker.

  • We fixed an issue which was preventing the Express Member Registration Add-On from reloading the same page as expected after the login / registration was completed in some cases.

  • We fixed an issue which was preventing the "List View" and "Box View" buttons in the Media Manager from working properly in some cases.

  • We fixed an issue which was affecting the display of special characters in a post's title when using the "RSS Feed for Posts" Add-On.

  • We added the "aria-label" attribute to all default <select> dropdown fields on the frontend of sites. This attribute is required for accessibility purposes and will increase scores in 3rd party tools like Google PageSpeed and GTMetrix.

  • We fixed an issue which was preventing the "Hero Title Text Font Size" Design Setting from being applied as expected in some cases.

  • We added support for Youtube Short, Youtube Live, TikTok, and DailyMotion videos when creating a video post from the Member Dashboard.

  • We fixed an issue which was preventing the system from displaying the "Post Search Results Placeholder" image on Post Search Results pages in some cases.

  • We fixed an issue which was affecting the ability to login as a member during the process of purchasing a Digital Product posted to the site in some cases.

  • We fixed an issue which was preventing the system from exporting members using the Export Member Data Add-On in some cases.

  • We fixed an issue which was preventing the system from loading the image on Post Details pages for Video posts in some cases. 

  • We fixed an issue which was preventing the system from loading the correct data for the "meta description" tag on member profile pages in some cases.

  • We fixed an issue which was preventing the "Refresh Live Website" functionality from working properly after saving widgets in some cases.

  • We fixed an issue with the "Member Credits System" Add-On that was causing the system to grant a member credits when upgrading, even when an error occurred during the upgrade process in some cases.

  • We fixed an issue which was affecting the ability to complete the paid signup process after applying a coupon code discount in some cases.

  • We fixed an issue which was affecting the ability to use the "Remove File" button related to a File Upload Field in a form in some cases.

  • We added the ability for members to use the Stock Photo Library Add-On when adding and image to a post from the Member Dashboard for Single Image Post Types.

  • We updated the Related Searches widget in order to include related searches related to the member's top level category as long as the member has a top level category selected.

  • We fixed an issue with the Reviews Homepage Streaming widget which was preventing the "Include Posts from Non-Searchable Member" streaming widget setting from working properly in some cases.

  • We fixed an issue with the Bookmark my Favorites Add-On which was preventing the bookmark counter from working properly on the Sub-Account tab in member profile pages in some cases.
     
  • The "Membership Plan Name" and "Membership Plan ID" variables have now been added to the Email Variable list shown when editing an Email Template.

  • We updated the Export Member Data Add-On in order to include the "Product Name" of an invoice when exporting invoices from the Transaction History page in the Admin. 

  • We fixed an issue which was preventing the system from respecting the "Hide Reviews Star Rating Options" Membership Plan Setting when the "Member Profile - Write a Review" SEO Template has been customized on a site. 

  • We updated the Froala WYSIWYG to the latest version available.

  • We fixed an issue with the Member Post Import logic which was causing the system to add duplicate posts during import after checking the 'Auto Import the posts image base on "Post Image" during import' Setting in some cases.
     
  • We updated the Member Transaction History section in the Member Dashboard in order to add support for pagination and sorting the columns. 

  • We fixed an issue which was preventing the "Filter by Form" field from working properly when searching on the Form Inquiries page in the Admin. 

  • We updated the "Post - Standard" and "Post - Photo Album" webhooks to include the first_name, last_name, email, company, full_name and filename fields as part of the data sent to the webhook endpoint.
     
  • We fixed an issue which was causing Member Profile Photos uploaded through the Member Dashboard to distort the images during the upload process on some Apple devices. 

  • We added the support for using the variable name of custom fields found in the Member Leads form as variables in the "3rd Party Email Addresses" fields in the Lead Settings. 
  • We fixed an issue which was preventing Member Searches from returning accurate location results when the "Localized Search" Advanced Setting was enabled on a site in some cases.
     
  • We updated the robots meta tag to "no index, no follow" when loading the Pretty URL version of a member search results page which does not have any results and the "Google Search Assist" Add-On is enabled on the site.
     

  • In all, over 80 feature enhancements and software updates were released this month.
