Business Import Credits
Business Import Credits serve as the key to acquiring individual records, with these credits being offered in a range of quantities. Each purchase, whether it's 1,000 or 10,000 credits, is designed to cater to different business needs, ensuring flexibility and scalability.
When a user opts to purchase, say, 10,000 business imports, these credits are then allocated to one of their owned websites. This streamlined process allows for efficient management and application of the credits, ensuring that the website benefits directly from the import capabilities.

Importing Business Data
Import data directly from the admin dashboard once the credits have been added to the website.
- Go to My Members
- Click on Business Data
Add Import Credits on this page, the button will redirect to the following URL: https://www.brilliantdirectories.com/instant-business-data
Filters
Within this tab, users can search for records that align with any Business Category in any Location. Each click refines the search, progressively narrowing the sample size of the results.
The resulting records will be displayed on the same page, providing a seamless and convenient user experience.
- Select Business Category
There are two additional filter options for the categories that can focus or broaden the results.- Primary Category Match *Focused Search *Fewer Results:
This search option narrows results to only include businesses listed under a specific primary category. For example, when searching for "Pizza Restaurant," only businesses with "Pizza Restaurant" as their primary category will be found. Use this option for precise and targeted search results.
- Related Category Match *Broader Search *More Results:
This search option expands results by including businesses in both the primary and related categories. For example, a business listed under "Pizza Restaurant" may also appear in searches for "Restaurant" or "Pizza Shop." Choose this option to find a wider range of related businesses.

- Enter Location/Region
The location search is powered by Google making it easy and convenient to search all regions. If the website language is different than english, a checkbox option has been added to enable searching in the website's language, providing more comprehensive results based on the commonly used language versions in specific regions.:
Important:
To get results only from a specific location, enter the EXACT postal code or city name. Searching by country or state will return results from the entire area. Searching by county it's not supported, a pop-up will show indicating to enter a specific location.
For locations in Taiwan, we encourage to search for zip codes or the entire country. Searching for cities will return a warning modal:"Specific Location Required: For Taiwan, please input a specific postal code location for the most accurate results. Cities, counties, and states are not supported at this time."
To ensure satisfaction with results, test imports with 10 credits first. - Preferred Attributes
Select the preferred attributes to be included. Please note that while the system will attempt to include all details, some attributes may not always be available.

Data Accuracy Disclosure
- The business data importer tool strives to provide accurate data.
- Due to the dynamic nature of business data, some details, such as logo images, may be unavailable.
- Email addresses and logo images are not guaranteed, although the system may find and include them.
- To conserve credits, the system skips duplicate records already imported with this tool, but not from other sources.
- To ensure the data meets your needs, test with a smaller import of 10 records first before initiating larger imports.
Results
Once the records have been narrowed down using the filters, the system can complete the search:
- Click on "Search for Records"
- The records found will be displayed in a pop-up modal
- Two options will be available: "Go Back" or "Continue to Import Settings"
The results will display the number of credits available and will allow the user to select how many of the records to import:
Import Settings
The Import Settings include:
- Assign Records to a Membership Plan: Select from the existing plans
- Set Member Status: Active or Inactive
- Assign Tag to Identify Members After Import:
NOTE: Creating a New Tag is Recommended Assign Category: The system can add these new members to one of the following options
- Existing Category
- Create a Top Category if same name does not exist
- Create Sub or Sub-Sub Categories if same name does not exist
Once the settings have been defined, complete the import:

The system will generate an Import Summary:
Clicking on "View Import Progress" will redirect the users to the My Imports tab.
My Imports
This tab will display the results from all completed imports:

- Import ID
- Status
- Criteria
- Find Logos
- Geocode Records
- Completed Imports
- Members - View Link (see below)
Clicking on "View" will display the imported members in the Search Members list:
