In this article we are going to show you all the settings you can find in the "Pricing" Tab:

Also this article is going to be divided in two sections: 



1. Payment Settings


The first thing you need to know is that you can choose if that specific membership level is "Free" or "Paid". 

If you select the "Free" option, some settings will be hidden because they will only apply to paid memberships. 




1. Account Type:  This option will allow you to select if this membership will be free, paid or claim.
The claim option will only appear if you purchased this add-on or if you are part of the Vip Add-ons club.

If you want to setup a Free Membership Level, we'll recommend you yo read the following documentation: Setting up Free Products (Membership Levels)


2. Preferred Payment Term: In this option you can select which will be the preferred payment. 

For example: If you selected "Paid" in the option 1 and you select the preferred payment term: "Yearly". In the checkout page the "Annually" option will be marked by default.  



3. Enable Free Trial Period: This is an add-on and you will only see this option if you bought it or if you have the Vip add-ons installed.

4. Number of Free Trial Days: In this option you can select how many days you want to give your members for free to try out your site. If you want to know more detailed information please read the article added in option 5. 


5. Monthly Price: Entering a value greater than 0 will enable this payment option. 

For example: If you type "10", the system will display this amount in the checkout page and ti will charge them automatically each month. Keep in mind that some payment gateways as PayPal Standard and PayFast, handle the recurring subscriptions in a different way. They create the unpaid invoice but the payment won't be attempted until the members login in their account and pay from there. 

The internal payment gateways will charge their account automatically.   


6. Quarterly Price: Entering a value greater than 0 will enable this payment option.

They system will create an option to signup and pay each 4 months. This subscription is recurring as well.  


7. Semi-Yearly Price: Members will be billed every 6 months, if they select this option.

Entering a value greater than 0 will enable this payment option.This subscription is recurring as well.  


8. Yearly Price: Members will be billed every 12 months, if they select this option. 

Entering a value greater than 0 will enable this payment option.This subscription is recurring as well.

9. One-time Setup Fee: This option will work for 2 purposes: 

  • Charge a setup amount + the membership price: If you want to do this please type the "Setup Amount"  and also select at least one of the options 5, 6, 7 and 8.
  • Charge only a one time payment: If this is what you want please leave blank the options 5, 6, 7 and 8 and only add the one time payment amount. If you need more information about how to set this up please read this article: Setting up One Time Payments


10. Price to Purchase Leads: Type the amount you want to charge the members who signed up in this specific member if they want to purchase a lead.

If the membership level is free, we recommend to charge for leads, if it is paid we recommend to setup a cheaper amount or allow them to receive leads for free. 




2. Upgrade Options


Please reference the upgrades setup options in the image below: 



11. Upgrade Available?: Select if the you want these members to upgrade their account. 

If YES, this level will be an option that members can upgrade to.


12. From - Upgrade Description: The text entered here will display as a description for this membership level when upgrading.


13. To - Upgrade Description: The text entered here will display as a description for this membership level when it is an option to upgrade to.


14. Available Upgrade Options: The membership levels you select here will appear as options to upgrade: 



NOTES:

  • Members cannot upgrade from a paid Membership Level to a free Membership Level, so membership levels that are free will not be selectable options.
  • "SELECT RECOMMENDED" will automatically select all the membership levels with better search results priority.
  • Products that have the Account Type "claim" cannot upgrade. The listing first has to be claimed by a member, and then the member can upgrade.
